Security Passwords

Tips for creating security passwords

1. Use a pass sentence
Try not use to use real words. This time misspelling is the key. Creating a pass sentince or mneomic memory device.
Example: don't eat yellow snow in winter
password: deysiw- the first letter from each word creates your password.

2. Add some case changes.
Make some letters upper and  lower case.
Example: DeysiW

3. Add some character to your passwords.
Example: D(eysi)W

4. Change your passwords- you can keep the base and change the numbers.
Example: D(eysi)W123

5. Don't write them down but you could leave yourself a reminder that will help.

6. Don't keep yourself signed in to your email accounts. Always sign out when you leave for the day. Do not let your web brower remember your passwords especially on a work computer.
